Alana Romanella

Biography
Alana Romanella holds the position of deputy director for ACCESS Support at the University of Colorado Boulder, overseeing strategic growth, vision, and leadership for the NSF Track 2 (Support) Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Coordination Ecosystem: Services & Support (ACCESS). With a 15-year tenure in higher education, she actively engages in the national cyberinfrastructure community. She has held various leadership positions over the last eight years at PEARC/XSEDE Conferences, notably being the PEARC General Co-Chair in 2023 and a PEARC Series Steering Committee member. She is also highly active in the SC Conference Series and is currently serving as the vice chair of Students@SC24. She has been an XSEDE Campus Champion since 2015, is on the RMACC Board of Directors, and is a founding member of the Virginia WHPC chapter.
