Dhruva Kumar Chakravorty, Ph.D. is a nationally recognized leader in research computing and data science infrastructure. As Associate Executive Director for Emerging Technologies and Research at Texas A&M University’s High Performance Research Computing division, he oversees services supporting 3,000+ researchers across 11 institutions. His leadership spans regional infrastructure deployments, national CI strategy, and workforce development—from asynchronous credentialing programs and technical training serving thousands of students each semester to K–12 outreach through the Summer Computing Academy. He is deeply committed to building inclusive, service-driven ecosystems that empower distributed teams and support cutting-edge research.
