Biography
Andreas Dilger is Principal Architect for the Lustre filesystem, widely used in HPC environments, and has been involved in its development from its beginning. He is also a contributor to the Linux ext4 filesystem, the PNG ISO/IEC standard and reference library. He has served on the IO500 committee and program committees for a variety of HPC storage conferences and workshops. After graduating from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Calgary in 1991, Andreas worked at several successful startups, as well as IBM, Sun Microsystems, and Intel before taking on the role of CTO at Whamcloud.
