Biography
Yunhao Zhang receives his Ph.D. in Informatics from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2024. He focuses on exploring 3D human motion and the crowd simulation micro-behavior.

His research examines how to rank the quality of 3D martial arts motion based on human feedback. Specifically, the quality of combat motion could be addressed in skill level, realism, and other perceptual attributes. Based on how non-experts rate the quality of motion, the rank result could be different from an expert's perspective, and the non-expert-driven rate is vital in the game and art industry.

During the summers of 2023 and 2024, Yunhao worked with Dr. Damian Rouson as a Research Intern at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. The project was to develop a cloud microphysics neural network model in Fortran. He also completed the M.S. in Computer and Information System from Kean University, B.S. in Computer Science from Wenzhou University. Before arriving NJIT, he worked for a biotech company in Shanghai as a software engineer.
