Kevin Thach is the Section Head of the High Performance Computing Systems section within the National Center for Computational Sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Kevin manages a group of 60+ system engineers responsible for the 24x7 administration, monitoring, and support of the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility’s various supercomputing and data-centric resources . Prior to joining Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2009, Kevin worked in the healthcare industry as a UNIX/Linux system and storage engineer for approximately 15 years.
