Presenter

Irene holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science, specialising in Algorithms, from the UPC in Barcelona. She was a visiting researcher at Georgia Tech, where she worked on parallel randomised algorithms for graphs and stochastic optimisation. She has had experience with supercomputers since her undergraduate studies, and is currently a Workflow Research Engineer in the Models and Workflows Team of the Earth Sciences Department of the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre, working on the Autosubmit workflow manager as part of its development team.
