Spencer Patty is a math algorithm engineer at Intel Corporation specializing in sparse linear algebra for the Intel® oneAPI Math Kernel Library (oneMKL). Spencer currently focuses on developing user-friendly, high-performance implementations of fundamental sparse BLAS operations for modern hardware architectures. He enjoys collaborating with others to problem solve, create new algorithms and deliver software to empower them in their various applications. Spencer graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a PhD in mathematics.
