Presenter

Kai Xu is a researcher at Laoshan Laboratory. He received a bachelor’s degree and a PhD in computer science at Shandong University. He also worked at National University of Singapore as a research fellow. His research focuses on the design and implementation of scalable tools and computational science applications. He is interested in using modern high performance computing technologies to design and optimize efficient parallel algorithms for climate models, bioinformatics and machine learning.
