Biography
As a computational chemistry graduate student, I came across HPC (High-Performance Computing) and was instantly attracted to it. I participated in several HPC workshops and eventually got invited to join the Masters in HPC (MHPC) organized by ICTP and SISSA in Italy. After completing my studies at the MHPC and obtaining my Ph.D. in Chemistry, I joined Temple University in Philadelphia. There, I helped design, deploy, and manage several HPC resources using different technologies such as GPUs, GPFS, InfiniBand, and DevOps tools like Cobbler, Ansible, Continuous Integration, and others. In addition to this, I became the instructor of the HPC Technologies course in the MHPC. Recently, I joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory as an HPC engineer, particularly in the System Acceptance and User Environment group, which is part of the Operations Section within the National Center for Computational Sciences.
