James H. Laros III is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. Previous to Sandia, James served as a sergeant in the USAF and as a systems analyst with Martin Marietta for the Strategic Defense Initiative. In his career spanning more than 35 years, James has focused on a wide range of high performance computing-related research including filesystems and storage, systems management, systems software and computer architecture. James holds an AAS in engineering from Northampton County College, a BS in computer science from Chapman University, and an MS in computer architecture from the University of New Mexico.
