Laurent Morin

Biography
Laurent Morin is a research engineer at the University of Rennes with expertise in high-performance computing, parallel algorithms, and HPC and cloud system administration over the data continuum. With a strong background in computer science and 10 years of experience in the GPU software industry as a research manager, he has contributed to numerous research projects, including AQMO (a mobile pollution sensor feeding HPC simulations), RUDI (deployment of a distributed and resilient open data system at regional scale), and Exa-AToW (on the deployment of workflows in the continuum). His work focuses on advancing the state of the art in data logistics to tackle complex problems in various integration domains, from sensor deployment to large-scale HPC/Cloud/IA systems.
