DESCRIPTION:Daniel Barry (University of Tennessee, Knoxville)\n\nGuided In
 terest Groups (GIGs) are community learning experiences designed to help s
 tudent attendees navigate the SC Technical Program while focusing on key t
 opics in high-performance computing (HPC) related to their interests. The 
 GIGs this year span topics ranging from the fundamentals of HPC to state-o
 f-the-art developments in machine learning, artificial intelligence, susta
 inability, and scientific applications. GIGs are open to all students atte
 nding the conference, with priority given to those participating in the St
 udents@SC cohorts. Pre-registration for a specific GIG is required to atte
