SUMMARY:Generalizing ExaDigiT Datacenter Digital Twin Framework for Multip
 le Architectures
DESCRIPTION:Sedrick Bouknight and Matthias Maiterth (Oak Ridge National La
boratory (ORNL)); Tim Dykes (Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)); Rashadul K
abir (Colorado State University); and Vineet Kumar, Scott Greenwood, Jesse
Hines, Wes Brewer, and Feiyi Wang (Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL))\
n\nExaDigiT is an open-source framework for developing comprehensive digit
al twins (DTs) of liquid-cooled supercomputers. DTs merge telemetry, simul
ations, and AI/ML/RL to create a complete virtual representation of a syst
em. This provides an effective tool for testing a variety of system optimi
zations, determining the impact and outcomes of hypothetical “what-if” sce
narios, and creating virtual prototypes of future systems with performance
and cost insights. Our framework consists of three primary modules includ
ing (1) a resource allocator and power simulator, (2) a thermofluidic cool
ing model, and (3) an augmented reality model of a supercomputing cluster
and its cooling plant. ExaDigiT can predict the power and energy losses of
synthetic and real workloads, simulate complex transient dynamics to prov
ide accurate cooling predictions, and provide an interactive means of anal
yzing relevant data. ExaDigiT is released under Apache and MIT licenses.\n
