SUMMARY:1159017 Network Architect
DESCRIPTION:HPE Slingshot architecture team is currently seeking a network
architect to contribute to the development of their future generations of
networking technology. This chosen candidate will primarily be concentrat
ing on future Slingshot NIC architectures with a focus on network security
.\n\nTo be considered for this position, the candidate should be an expert
in network architecture and possess knowledge in network security. They s
hould also be capable of evaluating various network architecture concepts
and how they impact system-level design trade-off analysis and optimizatio
 n. Collaboration with other network architects, ASIC designers, and NIC so
ftware engineers will be an integral part of this role.\n\nAbout the Job\n
\n• Designs, assesses, develops, modifies and evaluates electrical/electro
nic parts, components, sub-systems, algorithms, or integrated circuitry fo
r electrical/electronic equipment and other hardware systems.\n\n• Conduct
s feasibility studies, design margin and validation analyses and empirical
testing on new and modified designs.\n\n• Assists in architecture develop
ment and assessment. Evaluates reliability of materials, properties, desig
ns, and techniques used in production.\n\n• May direct support personnel i
n the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrica
tion.\n\n• Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex busi
ness issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.\n\n• Frequently co
ntributes to the development of new ideas and methods.\n\n• Works on compl
ex problems where assessment of situations or data requires an in-depth ev

ablishing policies.\n\n• May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level
employees.\n\n• Oversees multiple project teams of other electrical hardw
are engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible
for all stages of electrical hardware design and development for complex
products, solutions, and platforms, including design, validation, tooling
and testing.\n\n• Manages and expands relationships with internal and outs
ourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
\n\n• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance
with technology and development guidelines and standards; provides tangibl
e feedback to improve product quality.\n\n• Provides domain-specific exper
tise and overall electrical/electronic hardware and platform leadership an
d perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.\n\
n• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and
