SUMMARY:Advancing Arm Custom Silicon for High-Performance Computing with O
 pen-Source Firmware
DESCRIPTION:Zachary Bobroff (American Megatrends International (AMI)) and
Eric Van Hensbergen (ARM Limited)\n\nThe evolution of the Arm Neoverse Com
pute Subsystem (CSS) is propelled by recent advancements in upstream open-
source projects. As AI and machine learning workloads continue to expand,
the demand for custom-built Arm solutions is becoming critical for optimiz
ing resource utilization in high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
Cloud-native Arm processors and accelerators, such as AWS Graviton and Mi
crosoft Maia, illustrate the trend toward specialized processors designed
 to manage large-scale, compute-intensive tasks.\n\nThis presentation will
explore how open-source firmware serves as a foundational element for Arm
Total Design (ATD) partners in developing diverse processors tailored for
HPC, AI, and beyond. We will spotlight contributions to the open-source co
mmunity and the value of leveraging collaborative solutions, and discuss p
ractical approaches for enabling advanced Arm solutions in today's rapidly
evolving tech landscape. Attendees will gain insights into how purpose-bu
ilt processors are driving innovation in HPC and the broader industry.\n\n
